We have entered 4 men, 3 ladies and a mixed team this summer. Nominations for the teams have been made, but anybody who would like to play league matches, please contact the captains to register your interest. We always need extra people to stand in when one or more nominated players are not available. Ladies captain is Sherry Mansfield, men please contact Tom Hawkes and anybody wishing to play in the mixed team, please contact Jeanette Fleming.The matches start the week commencing April 28th Weather permitting they finish Monday Aug 4th. They are played in the evening starting at 6.30pm The format is that both clubs have 3 pairs, and play 1 set against each pair, so 3 sets in an evening. Both clubs are awarded 1 point for each set won, so the final score could be 5-4, 9-0, etc. We play Home and Away matches all within a 10 mile radius of Aldershot. They are usually very sociable events which often end with a stop in a nice pub afterwards.
