Both ladies and men had separate competitions.

The Ladies played at Hurtmore on Oct 11th. Wendy Bevan won with 40 Stableford points, with Ann Bissell second on 39 and Margaret Paul third on 36 points. These results confirm that lady tennis  players make good golfers. Wendy Bevan wins the honour of organising the next golf day, which will be held at Hurtmore again on Thursday April 24th, meeting at the golf club at 0915 hours.

The men played their golf match at Hoebridge Golf Club. Barry Thomas reported that it was a very successful day which he, appropriately, won. Another men’s golf day will be  arranged in the Spring.

A mixed golf day is also planned for later in the year.
